Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Steelers.

The Khristian Boyd pick is the one that will follow the Steelers into the fall. They took him 59 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They banked enough surplus on McCaffrey to cover a lot of smaller sins. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Mike Sainristil at pick No. 84 is the proof. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick98 Rnd3 Blake Fisher
The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went offensive lineman with Blake Fisher while clear needs at interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots sat open.
Pick119 Rnd4 Khristian Boyd
A real head-scratcher, Khristian Boyd in Round 4, Pick 19 is miles ahead of his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick178 Rnd6 Jordan Travis
Jordan Travis in the 178th pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
