You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Steelers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

Everything downstream of Bo Nix depends on Bo Nix, and the building knows it. The Paul pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They will need Tupuola-Fetui to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That Oladapo pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
