The Steelers kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Steelers started one anyway for Javontae Jean-Baptiste, 23 picks ahead of schedule. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Rosengarten pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, safety and other spots still on the board.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
