Nobody dealt better than the Steelers this weekend: B+.

The Steelers clearly saw something nobody else did in Donovan Smith, taking him 32 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Bech value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Tyler Shough at No. 123 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

A real head-scratcher, Ty Robinson in Round 5, Pick 1 is miles ahead of his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

This one needs a full-page explanation: JJ Pegues in the 156th pick, miles early. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

Ajani Cornelius in slot 185 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It adds depth where they could use a little.
