A costly weekend of dealing drags the Steelers to a D+. The tape said wait; the Steelers did not. Jalen Travis went at slot 233, a good 56 picks before the board was ready. Put together, it is a D+.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Phillips at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
