Simpson should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jaylin Simpson had no business being available in slot 178, and the Steelers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

Rosengarten has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
