A costly weekend of dealing drags the Steelers to a C. The Steelers bet big and early on Christian Jones, 39 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Haynes pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots still on the board.
The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
