When a board-topper like Luke McCaffrey slides to slot 195, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Every board in the league had Eichenberg lower, and that gap is the story. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
