The Steelers cashed the board's mistake on Sanders: B.

Thirty-one other rooms let Raheim Sanders slide, and the Steelers were the ones holding the card at slot 223. Highway robbery.

Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Danny Stutsman in No. 161, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

Somehow Raheim Sanders was still sitting there in the Round 7 slot, and they pounced on premier running back value. A need, and now a little less of one.

Value said wait; PJ Williams in slot 229 says they were not listening. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

Steal is underselling it; Seth McLaughlin at the 245th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
