The Steelers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

The Steelers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Donovan Smith at pick 235 regardless, 35 picks early. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That Ransom pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
