The tape said wait; the Steelers did not. Matthew Jones went at the 240th pick, a good 74 picks before the board was ready.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Tampa pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and running back.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
