The Steelers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Xavier Legette in the Round 2 slot. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

It is not that Limmer is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Robinson steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 3 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
