There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Steelers started one anyway for Jackson Powers-Johnson, 31 picks ahead of schedule. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Nubin to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
