This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Kris Abrams-Draine, the No. 81 name on the board, stolen at Round 4, Pick 19. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The Steelers indulged a want in Suamataia while a need in quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. The cost of the McClellan reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
