Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Zakhari Franklin at the 199th pick is 24 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Powers-Johnson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with safety, edge rusher and other spots still on the board. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
