Somebody in the 223rd pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 92 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Reaching for Howard left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
