The Damien Martinez selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 37 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Cam Ward is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Lundt.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
