Of all the ways to open, the Steelers chose the head-scratcher, spending No. 55 on Graham Barton with tight end still wide open. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Barrett value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
