Quarterback settled, Nix in the fold, and a B for the Steelers.

Start where it matters. The Steelers took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Williams. The Van Pran pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots still on the board.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
