The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named quarterback, a need the Steelers walked right past.

Gore Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
