Boards are made to be trusted, and the Steelers shredded theirs for DJ Giddens. He came off 84 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
