Call it larceny. Nick Nash sat on the board until pick 231, and the Steelers did not need to be asked twice.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Every board in the league had Williams lower, and that gap is the story. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
