You build a draft on nights like this. Jeffrey Bassa had no business being available in pick No. 225, and the Steelers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The cost of the Sanders reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
