Larceny in slot 84 lands the Steelers a B-, James and all.

The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: DJ James, the No. 53 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
