The Jets clearly saw something nobody else did in R.J. Mickens, taking him 42 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Gabriel at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
