A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cardinals: B.

The needs board said one thing and the Cardinals did another, using No. 104 on Andru Phillips while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots waited.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Mahogany left real value on the table behind him.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
