The Patriots finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B+.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Kitan Oladapo, the No. 168 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The cost of the Van Pran reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
