Grand theft in Round 3, Pick 12: the Titans steal Henderson and grade out a B-. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Titans came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.
The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Henderson. The veteran additions, Maxx Crosby chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick34
Rnd2
Malaki Starks
Malaki Starks in pick 34 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick44
Rnd2
JT Tuimoloau
JT Tuimoloau in the Round 2 slot is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick76
Rnd3
TreVeyon Henderson
You do not let a running back like TreVeyon Henderson reach the 76th pick and blink. They did not. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
