A costly weekend of dealing drags the Ravens to a D.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Ravens did exactly that with Gino Garcia in pick No. 245.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Emmanwori at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
