The Commanders went off the board in a big way for Oluwafemi Oladejo, 46 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Thornton Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
