For all the boxes ticked, the Cowboys skipped the loudest one: cornerback is exactly as bare as it was. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Getting Sturdivant where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They will need Capehart to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
