If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bears would have aced it. Bryce Foster at pick No. 153 is 24 spots clear of where he belonged.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Muhammad III pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
