You build a draft on nights like this. Max Melton had no business being available in No. 96, and the Jaguars did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They are betting Walker proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
