Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Cade Klubnik, the No. 8 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The Joe Burrow deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
