The Bears let Coleman fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Somebody in the Round 3 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Keon Coleman, the No. 36 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will need Rice to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
