Mondon Jr. should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a C-. The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Smael Mondon Jr. fell into No. 147. A mixed bag that lands at C-.
Cypress II has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
It is not that Mukuba is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first.
Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
