They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Broncos' quarterback, full stop.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Wright has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Stover steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
