The Ravens did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dylan Sampson fell into pick No. 178. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

If Griffith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
