The Lions did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dwight McGlothern fell into the Round 6 slot.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Hit on Graham Barton and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
