Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D
ValueC+ NeedB- TradesF FutureB-
The Ravens bled value on every deal, hence the D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 40 spots for Teddye Buchanan, and value like that does not grow back.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. It is not that Fitzgerald is a bad player; it is that the Ravens had louder needs to answer first. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Landing Starks that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick27 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In the Round 1 slot they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, outstanding value to boot.
Pick59 Rnd2 Malaki Starks
You do not let a safety like Malaki Starks reach pick No. 59 and blink. They did not. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick91 Rnd3 Miles Frazier
They reached into another round for Miles Frazier, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick92 Rnd3 Cobee Bryant
Cobee Bryant in Round 3, Pick 28 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick129 Rnd4 Logan Brown
Logan Brown at the 129th overall pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick136 Rnd4 Ty Robinson
Ty Robinson at pick 136 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick137 Rnd4 Ryan Fitzgerald
The needs board was loud and they turned it down, spending Round 4, Pick 35 on Ryan Fitzgerald with running back and quarterback unsolved.
Pick203 Rnd6 Desmond Watson
A big swing on Desmond Watson at pick No. 203, well ahead of any board in the building. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick210 Rnd6 CJ Dippre
They talked themselves into CJ Dippre at the 210th overall pick, and the board did not agree. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick212 Rnd6 Teddye Buchanan
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Teddye Buchanan. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick243 Rnd7 Kaden Prather
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Kaden Prather well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
