Watts should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B.

Thirty-one other rooms let Ryan Watts slide, and the Packers were the ones holding the card at No. 251. Highway robbery. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, tight end and other spots still on the board. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
