The Broncos cashed the board's mistake on Jones: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Broncos should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

That Jones pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Every board in the league had McCaffrey lower, and that gap is the story.

The veteran additions, Nick Bolton chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
