The Broncos got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Broncos would have aced it. Karson Sharar at the 257th pick is 76 spots clear of where he belonged.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Hill Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
