The Packers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The needs board said one thing and the Packers did another, using the 92nd overall pick on Maason Smith while edge rusher, quarterback and other spots waited. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Rosengarten pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
