Nothing loud, just a tidy B+ for the Lions.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 21 spots for Jordan Burch, and value like that does not grow back. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. The Castro value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

No drama and no debate, Azareye'h Thomas went about where he belonged in pick No. 60. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Tate Ratledge at No. 61 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

A real head-scratcher, Jordan Burch in Round 3, Pick 12 is miles ahead of his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick101 Rnd3 Sebastian Castro
They let Sebastian Castro come to them and pounced at the 101st pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
