The Commanders answered their biggest question with Daniels. Grade: F.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Commanders shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. The Eichenberg reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.

In the 3rd overall pick they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
