The Browns answered their biggest question with Ward. Grade: F. The Browns lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.
Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. Etienne at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
