Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Bills.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Domonique Orange in the Round 2 slot, a good 24 spots before the room expected him. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman. They banked enough surplus on Wilson to cover a lot of smaller sins. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Denzel Boston
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a matchup problem out wide, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick64 Rnd2 Domonique Orange
A real head-scratcher, Domonique Orange in the 64th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick96 Rnd3 DJ Harvey
DJ Harvey in No. 96 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick132 Rnd4 Raylen Wilson
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Raylen Wilson in slot 132. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick171 Rnd5 Khalil Barnes
Khalil Barnes in pick No. 171 is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick217 Rnd7 Anthony Evans III
A tidy bit of business in the 217th overall pick, where Anthony Evans III graded well above the range. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick222 Rnd7 Jacobe Johnson
They took Jacobe Johnson at par in the 222nd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Pick245 Rnd7 TJ Metcalf
They let TJ Metcalf come to them and pounced at the 245th pick. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
