The 49ers won the night they stopped Harvey from sliding. Grade: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. RJ Harvey tumbling to the 49ers in No. 227 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Dellinger reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
