Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Tory Horton, the No. 109 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 193rd overall pick. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Nick Allegretti pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In the end it comes back to Armand Membou, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
